1997-1998 Technology Two Pound Piedfort Silver Proof Coin Set

Piedfort silver proof 1997-1998 Two Pound set from The Royal Mint, supplied in the original presentation case with two certificates.

These two-coin sets were issued ahead of the release of the first Two Pound coins into circulation. These coins, dated 1997 and 1998, both feature the classic 'Technology' design, created by Bruce Rushin and used on circulating definitive £2 coins from 1998 to 2015.
