The obverse of this 1oz Kangaroo holds the definitive bust of Elizabeth II - which, in 1993, was Raphael Maklouf's design - alongside inscriptions on either side. These read 'ELIZABETH II' and 'AUSTRALIA 1993'.

Reverse: 1993 Australian Kangaroo Coin 

German-born designer Horst Hahne is credited with this founding 1oz kangaroo design for the Royal Australian Mint. His marsupial in motion hops below the inscribed face value: 'ONE DOLLAR'. Below reads '1OUNCE FINE SILVER'.
