1978 Triskelion One Pound Silver Proof Isle Of Man Coin

Collectable silver proof 1978 Isle of Man £1: one of the first Manx One Pound coins struck by the Pobjoy Mint.

These coins feature the same design as circulated Isle of Man 1978 £1 coins with Arnold Machin's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse with a 'PM' mintmark below the bust. The reverse shows a triskellion design over a map of the Isle of Man.

• These early Manx £1s are thinner than later Pound coins and weigh just 4.60 grams
