1966 Kennedy Half Dollar Silver United States Coin

Collectable 1966 John F Kennedy Half Dollar, struck for circulation in 40% silver at the Denver branch of the United States Mint.

Kennedy Half Dollars have been minted since 1964 to honour the assassinated United States President and feature an iconic left-facing portrait of Kennedy by Gilroy Roberts. This is paired with a classic reverse, inspired by the presidential seal and designed by Frank Gasparro.

• These 50¢ coins were only struck in .400 silver (alloyed with copper) between 1965 and 1970
• 108,984,932 1966 Half Dollars were struck at the Denver Mint but do not feature a mintmark
