1927 Threepence George V Silver Proof Coin

1927 Threepences were originally struck for inclusion in sought-after 1927 Proof Sets and were not issued for circulation.

Just 15,022 proof sets were issued in 1927, to mark a redesign of British coinage, and the individual .500 (50%) silver coins from these sets remain highly collectable. These proof Threepences feature a new acorn and oak leaves design by George Kruger Gray.
