Issued to commemorate the 180th anniversary of the creation of the original Una and the Lion in 1839 and the 200th anniversary of Queen Victoria's birth. Limited mintage of just 400 pieces, the Alderney Una and the Lion proof £5 Crown is slabbed & graded by PCGS as PR70DCAM.

Issued by The Commonwealth Mint. Obverse, crowned head of Elizabeth II right, ELIZABETH II. FIVE POUNDS. ALDERNEY C.I 2019. Reverse, Victoria, depicted as Una from the Edmund Spenser poem The Faerie Queen. DIRIGE DEUS GRESSUS MEOS surrounding, MDCCCXXXIX W. WYON R.A. in exergue. The Latin inscription on the reverse translates as May God direct my steps.
