1978 Triskelion One Pound Platinum Proof Isle Of Man Coin

Collectable Isle of Man 1978 One Pound coin, struck in solid .950 platinum with a proof finish by the Pobjoy Mint - from an issue of just 1,000.

These commemorative platinum coins feature the same design as the circulating Isle of Man 1978 £1 - the first Manx Pound coin. The reverse shows the Three Legs of Mann, the Island's official symbol, shown over a map of the island. The same design was used on Manx coins until 1982.
