A collectable hammered silver Halfgroat of King James the First of the second issue coinage issue of the period 1604 to 1619 and has the mint mark of a Tower. The coin features a crowned rose to the obverse, and a crowned thistle on the reverse. King James I was also at the same time King James VI of Scotland and issued a very similar coin of the same design with the mint mark of Thistle with a value of Two Shillings in Scotland.
Grade: Grade: VF. Light tone with and well struck with good clear details no problems for approaching Very Fine
