Historic nickel-brass 1941 UK Threepence, struck at the Royal Mint in London during the reign of King George VI.

In 1941, as the Second World War intensified, Britain endured the height of The Blitz while the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour drew the United States into the conflict. The UK's national Mint issued 60,239,489 brass Threepences that year. These coins initially circulated alongside the 1941 Silver Threepence.
