Collectable date 1920 UK silver Halfcrowns with Bertram Mackennal's portrait of King George V, struck by the Royal Mint in debased .500 silver.

From 1920, the percentage of silver in Halfcrowns and other British coins was significantly reduced, and minor tweaks were made to the designs, though the crowned shield of arms reverse, created by George William de Saulles for King Edward VII's coinage, was retained.
