Collectable 1919 silver Threepence with a portrait of King George V by Bertram Mackennal, struck shortly after the end of the First World War.

These 1919 Threepences are among the last British coins to be struck in .925 silver before the percentage of precious metal in circulating currency was reduced to 50%. They are part of an annual mintage of 16,845,687 silver 3d coins issued in the 1919 calendar year.
