1918 Threepence George V Silver Coin

Historic UK silver Threepence, struck in 1918 as the guns fell silent on the Western Front, marking the end of the First World War.

These wartime coins were minted at the Royal Mint in London during the reign of King George V, whose portrait (engraved by Bertram Mackennal) appears on the obverse. This is paired with a classic British coinage design: a reverse showing a wreath surrounding a crowned number three.
