1914 Threepence George V Silver Coin

Collectable King George V 1914 British silver Threepence, struck in London in the year that saw the outbreak of the First World War.

These historic currency coins feature an uncrowned, left-facing portrait of George V on the obverse, engraved by Bertram Mackennal. This is paired with a much older reverse design, attributed to Jean Baptiste Merlen, which shows a crowned '3' surrounded by an oak wreath.
