Jubilee Head silver Sixpence of Queen Victoria, dated 1891. Obverse: left-facing Jubilee portrait of the queen by Joseph Edgar Boehm. Small crown and veil, initials ‘J.E.B.’ below truncation of neck. Legend reads: ‘VICTORIA DEI GRATIA BRITT: REGINA F:D:’, broken by crown. Reverse: shows ‘SIX PENCE’ in centre with crown above within wreath of oak and laurel leaves, tied at the bottom with ribbon, date below: 1891. No die number present. Artist: Jean Baptist Merlen. Edge: milled. Weight: 2.83 grams, diameter: 19.3 millimetres. Grade: A UNC - Approaching Uncirculated: Bright tone with some minor surface marks and hairline sunder magnification. Spink 3929.
