Buy a 1826 Penny

A collectable copper Penny of king George the Fourth dated 1826 by engraver William Wyon, the obverse features the undraped head of king George the Fourth facing left, with the reverse showing infamous Britannia seated holding a trident and resting on an oval shield bearing the Union Flag, this flag has a few variations with this date this coin without a central line down the arms of the satire. George IV was born August 1762 and became known for his extravagance and indulgence in luxury goods, which influenced fashion to which we know as ‘Regency style’. This superb Copper penny in high grade would make a good addition to any collection.
