A collectable silver Crown of king William the Third of the first bust issue series dated 1695 or 1696, the date not quite clear, with the regnal year edge of OCTAVO.The obverse features the first draped bust of the king facing right, with the reverse showing the crowned cruciform shields representing England and Scotland, France and Ireland, with Ireland having the variant of the first harp. This coin in lower grade would be an excellent chance to own an example of English silver Crown over 325yrs old for very little money.
Grade: Grade: VG. A very light grey tone, flattening to second part off the date with possibility date of 1695 or 1696, no excessive scratches or dinks for the grade of Very Good.
