Legend around reads: CAROLVS · A · | CAROLO’, divided by the effigy. Reverse: figure of Britannia, seated with ornamental shield at her side with union flag. In one hand she holds a spear and in the other a sprig. The date appears in exergue with ‘BRITAN | NIA ·’ around. Weight: 5.3 grams, diameter: 22.5 millimetres. Grade: NVF/VF - Attractive darker background patination with proud areas lighter, reverse a little weaker for near Very Fine/about Fine. Hard to find in high grades. S 3394.
