£712.31
Stunning 70-piece Our Royal Sovereigns medal set, celebrating English and British monarchs, from Offa of Mercia to Elizabeth II. Each hallmarked gold-plated sterling silver medal shows an image of the Sovereign and the dates of their reign, paired with their personal shield of arms, seen on the reverse. The portraits take inspiration from contemporary coinage, with some of the early Anglo-Saxon and Norman rulers represented by the highly stylised imagery on their currency. This sought-after set was issued by the Danbury Mint, one of the world's leading makers of commemorative medals. While these Royal Sovereign medals are often sold separately, this set is complete with all seventy coins in the original, premium, two-drawer wooden box with fitted red trays inside.
