NGC graded 5oz silver proof coin, struck to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Queen Victoria's birth. Victoria was born on 24 May 1819 and became Queen in 1837. She married her first cousin, Prince Albert, in 1840, and it's a joint portrait of Victoria and Albert that appears on this 999 silver five-ounce coin. The design was originally created by Royal Mint Great Engraver William Wyon for a medal presented at the 1851 Great Exhibition. The dolphins symbolised British naval power. Just 498 of these large silver proof £10 coins were issued in 2019, and this one has been highly graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Company as one of the first 200 struck.
