Obverse: Young Head effigy by William Wyon with the date (1871) below and a legend which reads 'VICTORIA DEI GRATIA' above, raised 'WW' to the truncation. Reverse: quartered shield of royal arms, surmounted by crown within a wreath of laurels, '30' die number at the base of the wreath, 'BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID: DEF:' around. Mintage: 8,767,250. Grade: ICG MS63 - in old slab.
