The work of renown nineteenth century engraver William Wyon, the Gothic Crown featured two miniature masterpieces, released separately as part of this groundbreaking collection. Following on from the Quartered Arms reverse, the set is completed with a unique medieval-revival style effigy of Queen Victoria. Victoria’s great-great granddaughter, Elizabeth II, appears to the obverse in a very different but no less beloved portrait by another Royal Mint engraver, Jody Clark. This 5 kg edition is offered in 5,020 grams of 999 fine gold. It has a face value of £5,000 and comes from a limited edition presentation of just 2 pieces.
