The reverse of this 2021 Sovereign features Benedetto Pistrucci's classic St George and the dragon design with the date (2021) below and a tiny crown mintmark to the left, only used on some collectors pieces from the 2021 Sovereign family.

Struck in 7.98 grams of 22-carat gold like all other gold 'full' Sovereigns issued since 1817, this limited edition collectable boasts an attractive matt brilliant uncirculated finish.
Limited Edition Struck On The Day Sovereign
This strike-your-own coin was minted on 12 June 2021 to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's 95th birthday. Just 1,195 of these Sovereigns were produced on this date and each one comes with a certificate of authenticity, hand-signed by Gavin Elliott, Head of Production for Commemorative Coins at The Royal Mint.
