Just 256 issued! Buy a gold proof 2019 Men's Cricket World Cup 10p coin from The Royal Mint. This pre-owned UK coin features the 'C' design released as part of the sought-after Alphabet A-Z series of Ten Pences. Created by The Royal Mint's design team the motif shows a cricketer mid-swing with a wicket in the background. A large C appears in the foreground. 2019 was the year of the 12th ICC Cricket World Cup with the tournament held between 10 venues in England and one in Wales. Ten teams were whittled down to England and New Zealand in the knockout stage, played at Lord's Cricket Ground in London, with England winning on a boundary count. The obverse of this highly collectable Cricket coin features the official portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by British artist Jody Clark: the final definitive image of Her Majesty used on UK currency. Struck in 12.659 grams of 91.67% fine gold, this is a denomination rarely seen in precious metal. Offered in the original presentation packaging from The Royal Mint with a numbered certificate of authenticity enclosed.
