1924 George V gold Sovereign, Sydney mint (S 4003, Marsh 284 - R3). Obverse: uncrowned bare head bust by Bertram Mackennal with an inscription around which reads 'GEORGIVS D. G. BRITT: OMN: REX F. D. IND: IMP:'. Reverse: Saint George on a rearing horse, slaying a dragon with the date (1924) below, 'B.P.' initials to the right for Benedetto Pistrucci, and a 'S' mintmark to the ground line for Sydney, Australia.
