Caribbean States Coinage Designs

Each of these Royal Mint Caribbean-issue coins features the definitive profile of Elizabeth II by Arnold Machin on the obverse. Two approaches to reverse designs are present. The first, on the $1, 25c, and 10c, shows a grand depiction of Sir Francis Drake's Golden Hind (the same ship which long featured on the UK's Halfpenny). The remaining coins feature a large inscription of the denomination flanked by palm fronds.

Royal Mint Eastern Caribbean Coins

The Royal Mint was commissioned to strike these coins for the seven Eastern Caribbean States, which adopted the currency through the Eastern Caribbean Currency Authority. A variety of shapes are present, including the square 2c and the flower-shaped 5c and 1c. These are proof coins of base metal composition.
