Arnold Machin's Portrait Of Elizabeth II

Arnold Machin's right-facing bust of Queen Elizabeth II is shown on the obverse of each coin in this set with an inscription that reads 'ELIZABETH II CANADA 1976'. Machin's portrait was the second definitive effigy of Her Majesty used on Canadian coinage.

The coins in this 1974-dated set are all composed of .925 sterling silver, with the $5 coins weighing 24.30 grams each and the $10 coins weighing 48.60 grams each. That is a total weight of 145.80 grams or 134.86 grams of pure silver. Each piece boasts a premium, proof finish and a milled edge.
