2014 Royal Shield of Arms design circulated nickel-brass round UK One Pound coin, ready to add to your collection.

In 2014, three different £1 designs were released into circulation by The Royal Mint. These coins feature the standard Royal Arms design, created by Matthew Dent, paired with Ian Rank-Broadley's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.

• 79,305,200 of these round, nickel-brass One Pound coins were issued in 2014
• The edge reads 'DECUS ET TUTAMEN', meaning 'An ornament and a safeguard'
• The Northern Ireland £1 and Scotland £1, both with floral designs, were also released into circulation
