Northern Ireland - Egyptian Arch Railway Bridge 2006 circulated UK One Pound coin, the third design in The Royal Mint's Bridges series.

MacNeill's Egyptian Arch is a railway bridge located in Newry, Northern Ireland, completed in 1851 and named for engineer Sir John Macneill and its resemblance to a headdress worn by Ancient Egyptian pharaohs.

• Edwina Ellis designed the Egyptian Arch £1 and the other coins in the British Bridges collection
• The edge features a criss-cross pattern, and the heads side shows a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II
• 38,938,000 of these round, nickel-brass Pound coins were issued by The Royal Mint in 2006
