2002 Queen Mother Memorial cupronickel Five Pound coins, commemorating the life and legacy of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother.

The Queen Mum passed away at the age of 101 on 30 March 2002, and this official coin was released afterwards with a special portrait of Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon by Avril Vaughan. This is paired with Ian Rank-Broadley's coinage bust of Elizabeth's daughter, Queen Elizabeth II.
