John Flanagan designed the central portrait of George Washington, found on the obverse of this Kentucky Quarter. Viewers can find the motto 'IN GOD WE TRUST' to the side, with 'UNITED STATES OF AMERICA' struck above.

Kentucky Bardstown Mansion 25¢ Design

A Kentucky racehorse is featured in the foreground of this design by Thomas Ferrell. This celebration of Kentucky also features a representation of the Bardstown mansion atop Federal Hill. The legend reads 'KENTUCKY 1792', and the scene is captioned 'MY OLD KENTUCKY HOME'.
