Collectable 1999 Cretan Bull Two Pound from the popular Labours of Hercules series, struck for Gibraltar by the Pobjoy Mint.

These coins depict Hercules' seventh labour: capturing the Cretan Bull. This magnificent but savage creature had been sent by Poseidon and was laying waste to Crete. Hercules subdued the bull with his bare hands, transporting it alive across the sea to King Eurystheus in Tiryns.
