1994 Pierre De Coubertin Twenty Francs Circulated French Coin

Tri-mellatic 1994 French 20 Francs coin, issued to celebrate the centenary of the International Olympic Committee, established in 1894.

Pierre de Coubertin (1893-1937) co-founded the IOC, and it is his portrait that appears on the obverse of this 20 Fr piece from the Monnaie de Paris, while the reverse shows the Olympic rings and the Sorbonne, where the first Olympic Congress took place.
