The Tudor Beasts collection was inspired by ten heraldic stone statues that guard the Moat Bridge at Hampton Court Palace and represent King Henry VIII's Tudor Dynasty and the ancestry of his third queen, Jane Seymour. The Royal Dragon is associated with Henry's Welsh lineage.
