A 1994-dated set of coins, struck by The Royal Mint on behalf of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank. This six-coin collection of definitive Eastern Caribbean Islands coins is presented in a collectable BU standard, ready for display in the original folder. The coins bear one of two reverse designs, with the smaller Cent denominations showing the face value crossed by palm branches. The remaining 1994-dated issues feature a depiction of the Golden Hind, as on the UK Halfpenny. These collectable coins vary in alloy between aluminium and cupronickel, as well as shape; one is square, two are scalloped, and three are round. About The 1994 Eastern Caribbean BU Set

Two predominant reverse designs, which featured on the coinage for many years, are present in the set. The lesser fractional denominations take a floral approach, accompanying the value in Cents with crossed palm branches. Meanwhile, coins from 25¢ upwards depict Sir Francis Drake's Golden Hind, which circumnavigated the globe in the late 1500s.
