Empty 2000-2007 Proof Half Sovereign Coin Box

Real proof Half Sovereign box and case from The Royal Mint, as used for coins issued between 2000 and 2007.

This combination of a red leatherette box and a flocked red clamshell case was previously used by The Royal Mint to house all their proof Half Sovereigns. The words 'UNITED KINGDOM Gold Proof Half-Sovereign' are inscribed on the lid of the outer box in gold.
