We've just moved into a new office in Royal Wootton Bassett, our home town in beautiful Wiltshire.
If the name rings a bell it's probably because you remember how the community honoured those soldiers who lost their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan. The 'Royal' in the name was granted in 2011 to recognise this.
Our new premises are located on Wootton Bassett's High Street, in a venerable old Lloyds Bank building, opposite the old half-timbered Town Hall. Opposite is Old Bank Antiques and RWB Auctions, our sister companies. We're all part of the Gold-Traders group, a precious metal buying service that also operates a counter from the same premises.
Coin Valuations While You Wait
Our valuation centre is a secure space where our numismatists (coin experts) can value your coins while you wait. We have private meeting rooms and easy access to a reference library and professional testing equipment, both of which can help authenticate your coins.
Our numismatists have different specialisms so it's important to call ahead to ensure the right expert is available to assist. Call us on 01793 205 007 or email coins@britanniacoincompany.com to book an appointment. If the relevant specialist is not available we may ask you to leave your coins with us for valuation.

Why not drop into one of our expert valuation events, hosted in our valuation centre? Between 9am and 5pm, our numismatists will be on hand to provide speedy valuations and quick payouts for individual coins and collections.
We're keen to buy these types of collectable coins outside of our specialist valuation days but we'd encourage you to make an appointment to ensure we have the right expert on hand.
How To Find Our Valuation Centre
Our new Valuation Centre is located in the heart of Royal Wootton Bassett, near to other businesses in the Gold-Traders group.

Royal Wootton Bassett is just off junction 16 of the M4 and we're only six miles from Swindon which is served by trains from London and Bristol. Buses and taxis serve the route between the station and the town.
While Wootton Bassett is easy to get to, our secure entrance and private car park are a little tricky to access.
Please note: there is currently no public access to The Britannia Coin Company's offices from the High Street.
By Car: Follow road signs for Borough Fields or Sainsbury's, proceeding to the far end of the supermarket car park before turning left.
On Foot: From the High Street, locate the covered entrance to Borough Fields shopping centre and follow the route, turning left and Specsavers then left again at the dentists. Our Valuation Centre is the grey pebble-dashed building at the end of the car park.
