A collectable hammered silver Penny of King Henry the Fifth struck at the York mint between the years 1413 and 1322. The obverse features typically the facing bust of the king with a clear ‘Mullet’ and ‘Trefoil’ to either side of the crown indicating type F. The reverse shows the long cross with three pellets in the quarters, along with a quatrefoil at the centre typically for York mint.
Grade: Grade: GF. A mid to dark grey even tone with excellent bust details, irregular flan and weak legend which is common in this period.
