Collectable four-coin 20p set from The Royal Mint, including a brilliant uncirculated 2022 Twenty Pence with a privy mark. This popular set was issued to celebrate forty years since the 20p coin entered circulation in the UK. The first of these iconic British coins was issued in 1982. Until 2008, the 20p featured an instantly recognisable Tudor rose design by William Gardner before the royal shield design was introduced. The coins in this set reflect the four different portraits of Queen Elizabeth featured on the 20p by Arnold Machin, Raphael Maklouf, Ian Rank-Broadley and, lastly, Jody Clark. Three of the coins are ex-circulation coins, while the 2022-dated piece with Jody Clark's royal effigy features a brilliant uncirculated finish and a special '40' mint mark for the anniversary. Just 2,022 of these sets were issued by The Royal Mint in 2022 and they are the only place you can find the privy marked 20p.
