A collectable silver Halfcrown of king George the Third dated 1817. The obverse features the large bust known affectionately as the ‘Bull head’ with the date below, the reverse shows the ornate crowned shield of arms representing England, Scotland and Ireland with a small Hanoverian shied at the centre, all within a garter inscribed, when translated means ‘ Shame on him who thinks evil of it’ the motto for the Order of the Garter.
