Reverse: seated figure of Britannia, facing left, with union shield, spear and sprig of leaves and berries in hand. Legend, divided by figure, reads ‘BRITAN | NIA ·’ with ‘A’s unbarred. Date (1701) appears below with large zero. Edge: plain with toothed borders.
