1569 Elizabeth I Hammered Silver Sixpence. MM ‘Crown’

A collectable date hammered silver Sixpence of Elizabeth the First of the 3/4th coin issue dated 1569 with the mint mark of ‘Crown’. The obverse features the intermediate bust type 4B, with the ear clearly exposed of the queen who is facing left with the Tudor rose behind the bust. The reverse shows the cross through shield of arms representing England and France with the date above and the mintmark clearly shown before POSVI.
