This premium commemorative coin was issued to mark the UK's withdrawal from the EU on 31 January 2020. This followed a historic referendum in 2016 where the British public voted to leave the European Union. This coin is from a limited edition presentation of just 1,500, struck on this date to mark this important national event. Struck with a fine, BUnc finish, this 22-carat gold Sovereign features the classic St George and the dragon reverse, designed by Benedetto Pistrucci in the early nineteenth century. The reverse shows Jody Clark's definitive final coin portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. This pre-owned coin comes in a capsule inside the original fitted box of issue from the UK's national mint. A hand-signed certificate of authenticity accompanies this collectable 2020 Sovereign.
