A collectable silver Drachm of king Khursu II type II/3 of the Sasanian Empire struck between the years AD 590 to AD 628. The obverse features the side facing bust of the king, with the reverse showing the Zoroastrian fire pit with two attendants. The Sasanian empire (middle Persia) lasted some four centuries from AD 224-AD 651 with Khursu II being infamous for taking the “true cross” from Jerusalem.
