AD 537-539 Sassian Khusru I   AR. DrachmaA collectable silver Drachm of king Khursu I of the Sasanian Empire struck between the years AD 537 to AD 539. The obverse features the side facing bust of the king, with the reverse showing the Zoroastrian fire pit with two attendants. The Sasanian empire (middle Persia) lasted some four centuries from AD 224-AD 651.
